Understanding Vata Constitution, Prakriti

Light body frame and low body weight

Less strength and resistance to disease

Variable digestion and metabolism

Constipation and weight loss is common

Voice is low and hoarse, speech is talkative

Light and quick, or frail movement

Visible network of veins on hands and legs

Nature and emotions are variable

 

Hasty, quick initiation of action

 

Quickness in passion, affection, aversion or disinclination

 

Acquires knowledge quickly, and quickly forgets

 

Work should not requires too much physical activity or constant attention

 

A cold, or air-conditioned atmosphere aggravates Vata

 

Dreams are active, flying, fear and anxiety, and are easily forgotten
