Neem

Neem is known to clear air pollution; absorbing carbon in the environment and constantly purifying the air.  Every aspect of the neem tree is useful and there are an estimated 18 million neem trees throughout India.  It is a tree worshipped by the Hindus; the flower itself is often symbolized as the flowering character of a devotee.  It is medicinally known as a blood purifier.

Blood Purifier
Effective in all types of skin related ailments
Antiseptic, used in wound healing
Improves liver function
Useful in the treatment of diabetes
As a prophylactic against malaria
 

Home Remedies

Boiling leaves in one cup of water and using the decoction to wash hair, improves condition of hair.
Head Lice:  powder the seeds and mix it in groundnut oil and apply on scalp, leave it overnight and wash hair the next day.
Itching:  apply neem oil over the affected area
Chicken Pox eruptions:  grind neem leaves and mix it with turmeric and apply paste over eruptions.
Pimples:  apply paste of neem leaves
Painful gums:  brush teeth with neem stick
